Letter

Dear sir,

I strongly believe you should use my poster as your film poster for several reasons. "Forgiven" is the the name of the poster/movie. The sole purpose of the poster is to advertise the upcoming horror film; through letting them know that the new film is due to release. The poster will create awareness and create hype for the new movie. By viewing the poster the audience will get information about the name of the film, the release date, the stars/actors and actresses who are in the film and the BBFC certification. This information both attracts the viewer; through naming the stars who are popular and well known, aswell as a catchy film title and at the same time informs them important information they may want to know about the film such as the release date and the certification which will determine the age you have to be to watch the film.

The target audience will be for 18+ due to the horrific graphics that will be on the poster; both genders are targeted. Younger viewers are not suitable to view the images on the poster because they are not mature enough. I plan to make the poster appeal to the audience by using terrifying fonts and colours that are associated with danger. For example, the font will be huge and have a mysterious a style; dark colours such as black and red will be used to create a sense of mystery and blood. I intend to use outstanding images and graphics in the poster. A image of a baby will be on the front of the poster; I will use photoshop to make the baby look like death. Multiple posters will be displayed on social media, TV adverts, busses, trains etc. As a result, a large number of people will be able to view the poster.

Overall, I strongly believe that my poster will be a success because the poster is unique and petrifying; a spine-chilling picture of the baby will grab the attention of the audience as soon as they see the poster. Furthermore, the dark colours on the poster will make the audience think of horror and death.

Yours sincerely, Najeeb Kaliisa
